I don't know!
However, I got a set of 2002 blonde twins sometime ago, and that got me wondering.
One of them is now Ria's Adora, and the other is teetering between ebay and becoming Clara and stay at my house (three guesses at the outcome??!!)
And when I was cleaning her today (sorry, it's supposed to be a boy, but looks girlie to me!) I saw that her neck stamp says 2002 Pleasant Company.
Also, her lashes do not look "mattelish" they are soft and color coordinated (not as light as those in Fiona, the Our New Baby that we adopted)
So I started wondering about Bitty Twins history.

My daughter got hers exactly a year ago at AGPNY (April 2005.)

They are marked 2002 Pleasant Company and have dark blonde lashes.
